Trinity College Dublin, home to The Book of Kells

Trinity College Dublin, home to The Book of Kells, is the oldest college in Ireland.  Trinity College is in an enviable position in the very heart of Dublin, Ireland's capital city, and celebrated 400 years 1992.  The campus contains a unique collection of buildings dating from the 17th to the 20th century.

The major attractions on campus is the Old Library and the Book of Kells.  The Book of Kells is housed in the Old Library and is a must see for visitors to the city.  The Book of Kells is one of the most famous manuscripts in the history of the world and was completed in 800 AD.  Walking tours of the campus are available on specific dates throughout the year.  The Westin Dublin Hotel is located beside the prestigious Trinity College with many of the guest rooms overlooking Trinity College campus.
